Janice Eklund and Vickie Townsend present Beginning Swing and Beginning Waltz!

Local dance instructors Janice Eklund and Vickie Townsend are teaming up again to teach swing and waltz classes.  Focusing on developing good lead/follow skills and the details that make partner dancing so much fun.

4 Tuesdays February 13 to March 6, 2018 in the Port Hadlock Kivley Center WSU classroom, 97 Oak Bay Road.

6:30 - 7:30 Beginning swing and beyond

There will be a thorough review of the basics, plus some fun new moves to add to your dance tool kit.

7:45 - 8:45 Beginning waltz

Learn to glide across the dance floor with a partner in your arms...there is nothing like it.

$40 per person/per class for the four week series.

$12 per person drop in

Please note: Though we would prefer that you commit to the entire series so that people are learning the matieral at the same time, we are offing a drop-in rate.  If you are hesitant to sign up for the entire series, pay the drop-in rate the first night...then, if you decide to continue, that payment will be applied to the $40 fee for the series.

No partner necessary.  Everyone is welcome.  Bring shoes that are smooth soled and don't leave black marks on the floor.  Bring your water bottle, and most of all, bring a smile and a sense of humor.
