From Dave Thielk:

Check out the June music and dance event at the Grange! A concert AND dance, all for the price of one admission! The Bow Weevils are coming to the Quimper Grange on June 10th at 7PM.

The Bow Weevils are Olympia, WA kids who play both traditional and original compositions with various ever changing combinations of fiddle, guitar, banjo, ukulele, bass and their voices.

Band members are: Rizley Cox, Hatcher Cox, Ellie Davis, Annie Davis, and Ruby Neatherlin. With their ripe old ages ranging from 11-15 they've already appeared at multiple festivals and workshops including the Mud City Old Time Social, Oly Old Time Festival, Dare-to-be-Square West and the Portland Old Time Gathering.

The Bow Weevils love camping at music festivals together, playing for dances, and busking. They are part of an entourage of Olympia musicians including parents, friends and music mentors who are regulars at Centrum's Fiddle Tunes Festival. Ruby has been coming to Fiddle Tunes since she was a babe in arms and has been participating for 8 or 9 years, Annie and Ellie have participated for about 8 years and Hatcher and Risley have participated for about 7 years.

The June 10th event at Quimper Grange will start with a concert at 7:00. At the break chairs will be pushed aside for square dancing; Bow Weevils playing, Dave Thielk calling. On Friday June 9th at 2:30 you can tune in to KPTZ 90.7 FM to hear the Bow Weevils on Phil Andres' radio show,"Tossed Salad". You can also visit the Bow Weevil's Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/thebowweevils/

Admission to the concert and dance suggested donation $5-10. No one turned away.

Quimper Grange is located at 1219 Corona Street in Port Townsend. Doors open at 6:45
