T-Claw is coming to town to call a Square Dance at the Quimper Grange!

Local caller Juanita Ramsey will join Vivian and Phil Willams, long time Northwest folk musicians, to provide an evening of old time Grange-style dance and couples dances.
Instruction starts at 6:30pm, dance 7:30 - 10:00pm.

In May, Joanne Pontrello calls squares and related sets with rocking old time tunes from the Rose Street Ramblers.
Dancing starts at 7:30. All dances taught, experience is not necessary, all ages appreciated, and family friendly. All dances are come as you are. All experience levels and ages are welcome. Partners are not necessary. Dancers are encouraged to bring their own water bottles and snacks to share with other dancers. The Quimper Grange Square Dance and Social is an alcohol free event! 1219 Corona, Port Townsend. Adults $5.00; 16 and under free..
Classes run from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

The first class is free. After the first night, new students pay $4 per night.

Dance out the old, and dance in the new at Quimper Grange on Tuesday, December 31. Quimper Grange is hosting the 4th annual building maintenance fund raiser on New Year's Eve! Building hall maintenance continues to gouge our small budget. In the past couple of years we have put a new roof on, cleaned up and repaired our crawl space, refinished the dance floor, and installed a new electric main. But there is much more that needs to be done. Floors need refinishing
The Strait Wheelers are a Mainstream Club meeting on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month. Dancing 7:30 to 9:30, with pre-dance workshops usually starting at 7:00. Caller/cuer/instructor, Janolyn Keller, also provides cued Round Dances between tips for those who do Round Dancing. You can reach Janolyn at 457-5547.
